Hi, My Cab1 remote (19068) is over 15 years old. Probably need a new remote since the one I have is not working too well. Does any body know if I need to buy the set of the Legacy remote and legacy base or can I use my old TMCC base with a new Cab 1L? Thanks

The new Cab 1L can only be used with the Legacy base or it’s own.
Thanks Dave. I guess I asked the wrong question. I have a TMCC power master. Can I use the TMCC power master with a new Cab 1L? Otherwise I need to buy a new Legacy power master too??? Thanks!
Why not use a Cab 1L base with a Cab 1L remote. Less expensive than a Cab 2 rig and will do most of what you want on a layout.

No, the original TMCC PowerMaster is ONLY compatible with the original TMCC CAB1 remote. If you only have one or two PowerMasters, buy a Legacy PowerMasters. If you have more than that, you might consider the Legacy PowerMaster Bridge.
Thanks guys. This is really helpful. I appreciate your advice! TRM23
