Hello Fellow Train Enthusiasts,

If your part of the O Gauge forum, its probably given that you have already heard of the Eastern TCA Train Show in York Pennsylvania.  Some of you may be from different parts of the country and perhaps have not been fortunate enough to make it to a York train meet yet. York is a lot of great memories and times for many of us.

As times have changed we are now lucky to have something called the internet and the O gauge forum! Throughout the York train show weekend we will begin our media bonanza and do our best to bring all the new products, announcements and excitement to you!  By no means are we encouraging you not to go to the show.  We prefer you stop by!  But this is for everyone who are not able to make it or perhaps want to get a taste of York before they buy a plane ticket next spring.  For all the forum members we will be posting videos, photos and announcements on this thread.  If you like twitter we will be tweeting at www.twitter.com/trainworld . If you are a little younger or your kids/grandkids are on instagram, follow us on http://instagram.com/trainworldllc we will be posting pictures and doing some instagram live videos throughout the weekend. If you are on facebook www.facebook.com/trainworldllc we will also be posting pictures and will have Facebook live sessions.  If your stricly a video man we will have youtube videos posted the following week and will also post them on the forum www.youtube.com/trainworldtv .  And of course finally,  we will be writing about our journey on our blog https://trainworldllc.wordpress.com/

Below are some teasers we have set up with some manufacturers at the shows.

Ken, I want to let you know I prefer your videos with Mike Wolf over the TCA Museum presentations. I don't know... maybe Mike is uncomfortable with public speaking, which is a very common fear. But he just seems so much more relaxed, energetic and animated in your videos. The one from York Spring 2018 was very fun and informative to watch. It was obvious that all of you were having a good time with the kidding around, especially since it was first thing in the morning.

Watching Mike's enthusiasm could have turned me into a MTH customer, save for the fact they've more or less dropped their Rugged Rails product line up.

Many other businesses might possibly say we don't have the time or the money to do product videos and interviews. But everything is expensive including advertising. Undoubtedly you are doing yourselves a service with these videos, but also the hobby as a whole.

I even watch the videos with the HO manufacturers and I'm not an HO guy. But I figure there are things to learn. If the HO companies are doing built-to-order for high-end products (and the HO market is far BIGGER), then it should be no surprise that the 3-rail companies are doing it and will probably continue, regardless of how train buyers think it should be done.

Good job and thanks for your efforts.

Thanks so much for the kind words Brian!  Its nice to hear these things and it also validates our time and effort for what we put into it.  If we didnt hear feedback like yours we would second guess making videos like these.  After hearing all the positivity at the York train show about the videos, we are planning on covering more train shows and even manufacturer tours!

I really liked the video with Mike earlier. I know it's been discussed before but hearing Mike say that MTH are not renewing the LCT tinplate licence and the agreement is ending in April makes me sad. I really hope that MTH does not stop making tinplate. What I really like about LCT is the Lionel branding, they are new and they run on DCS
