Let me try this. (The following is supposed to be a hyperlink copied/pasted.)
great news. it would have been a shame if we lost this old standby.
Great news. I recently re-subscribed for 2 years. Even though their focus was mainly HO I enjoyed the magazine especially the stories about track side industries and the train related book reviews.

I am delighted to learn that the railroad-related titles have been purchased and that White River plans to continue the long and illustrious heritage of these important publications.

White River Productions also announced the acquisition of "The Railroad Press". TRP was/is a nice magazine about the prototype, published 4 times a year. I have enjoyed it a lot and hope it keeps on keeping on.
I'm glad to hear the news. Even though I'm a tried and true prewar. That has not kept me from enjoying RC.

As Si would say...
WE ARE HAPPY, HAPPY, HAPPY!!
They were my choice of dreams as a buyer!
All is well.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch...

That is great news! While I don't subscribe, but only buy once in a while at the news stand, I would hate to see these publications disappear into history. Thank you for the pdf!!
I didn't realize that TRP had been for sale? I hadn't seen the magazine the last couple times I looked. Of all the prototype train magazines, TRP is the winner as far as quality of printing and photography.
EDIT
Well, maybe they weren't for sale, but obviously are now affiliated with White River Productions.
I, for one, certainly hope they will continue with the Annual. It is nicely done, and I have all of them in my reference library.
That is great news!

I am Glad that these Great Magazines will survive and be available to the Old as well as the New Model Railroad Enthusiast. When you look at all the publications that are readily available today, Eash has it's own Merit. Our hobby, which is one of wide diversity, such as Model Railroad Building, Constructing Benchwork, Electrifying our Layouts, or Collecting Magazines, Buying Videos, Reading about Railroad History, or plain old RailFanning....It's the bond That keeps the World of Model Railroaders Connected.
This, my Friends, is Great News.
I wonder what this means for the staffers? The last Carstens R&R issue named someone as a contributing editor in that issue. Kind of like being given a promotion at work the day before they change owners and you probably won't have a job...
Good news!
RMC is a valuable resource for modelers and hobbyists alike.

Happy to see that they will be continued and seem to be willing to do right by their subscribers.
