Tomorrow will be my 43rd wedding anniversary. So my wife says lets go train watching and/or stop by the train store. Wonder what SHE wants???
Anyway I do appreciate her support of my hobby. She is not active in it but understands and does not complain about my many train related expenses.
I will be looking for that special something to pep up the layout.
And, OF COURSE, I will take care of her.

This is in contrast to fellow O gauger Neil Young who according to news reports this morning, has filed for divorce from his wife of almost 37 years.

Congratulations! My wife and I hit that exact same mark next month, so I know the work and commitment it takes to get to this point.
I am very saddened to hear about Neil Young's divorce filing from his wife, Peggy. Flabbergasted, as a matter of fact. A darn shame.

Congrats on 43! We are at 44 and my wife would NEVER suggest to go train watching!! You are one lucky guy. Have a great anniversary.
The closest my wife gets to trains is to take the Jersey Central, I mean NJ Transit in to NYC from Denville to visit our daughter.

My wife and I just celebrated our 54th last week. She is also very supportive of my hobby, but we went out to dinner, not to a train store.
