Does anyone have any photos or information on the long-gone Central Jersey Model Railroad Association ?  The O scale, outside third rail club was a fixture in downtown Westfield, NJ until the late-1960's (?) when they were forced to vacate their leased second floor layout space due to redevelopment.

The only (terrible photos, I know) I have are attached.  The  4 photos have a processing date of January 1967, but I seem to recall that the club had their annual public shows just prior to the Christmas holidays, so the photos probably date from November or December 1966.  I went to the shows a few years in a row, and as I recall, they really packed in the crowds.  My memory tells me this was a fabulous layout in it's day.  I remember an extensive trolley system with operating overhead wire as part of the layout.

Does anyone remember ?

Tom, Thanks for posting those two articles.  Great to finally be able to read something about that layout that has stayed in my memory for all these years.  I am a former member (1968-'75) of the also long gone Newark (NJ) Model Railroad Club (O scale, outside 3rd rail).  That was a massive layout in its time... but that Westfiled club sure made a big impression on me.
