Hello chessie1971....

I almost forgot to tell you that we bought the Williams NW-2 and it came on the 11th of March By UPS.  It is a beautiful little engine and the couplers are like 1/8" inch higher on both ends when coupled to the freight cars but its ok. I was surprised how well it runs out of the box.  I loved that little guy ! "The little black engine that could".

Hello chessie1971.........

here are the photos of my new NW-2 "the little black engine that could" and the pictures were taken by iPad.  I put on the better nickel plated bell from a lionel 700e Hudson and mount it on the hood of the NW-2, it looks soooo much better than the black plastic bell that came with it.  This engine is so far better than the lionel postwar #634 i had back in 1965.  LOVE this little guy !!!!!! see the photos guys !!!!

Hello chessie1971.........

The bell is the same kind that was used on lionel 726,736 engines, i think Jeff Kane would have them for under 10 dollars.  I had to hand drill out the stud of the plastic bell as it was glued on.  Just a little adjusting to the bell bracket and the bell will swing freely just make sure the screw head is file flat enough to clear the bell for swinging.
