Menu/System/Dcs setup/ High lite the var channel you want and hit fxd, When you power up again there is a slight delay and then the track immediately comes to life. The tiu will remember the new setting. Only have to do it once.
Ed,
Page 45 in my book.
Is there an Echo???? got ya!
Gregg,
Is there an Echo???? got ya!
No echo at all.
You gave him the short answer. I pointed to what Paul Harvey would call "...the rest of the story".
Talk about a "gotcha."
Neither of those replies give the answer for "how to change the output on the AIU."
Good luck with that one.
Greg (check the title, says Paul Harvey, for the rest of the story)
Greg,

What are you talking about? His question was:
how to change the a variable out put to a fixed out put on my Tiu
Asked and answered.
Barry Check the post title it states AIU not TIU
When i looked at it i had to look again
Bobbie,
Look again. It clearly states TIU. In fact, I copied it into my last post.
It may have said "AIU" at one time, although there's no indication that the post was edited.
Regardless, since the question only makes sense it terms of a TIU and is nonsensical in terms of an AIU, Gregg and I would in any case have answered the way we did.
This is odd real odd
This is what I show as a post title
inside the first post states TIU the Title was copied and pasted to this post
Bobbie,
No doubt it was just a simple mistake, he typed an A, instead of a T in his 1st post.

Dave,
But since Barry is being so high and mighty about it, I guess he must be right..
Thank you for your most helpful contribution to this thread.
Ah boys.
I just read the post as it caught me with the AIU in the title.
I did read TIU in the post.
SO everyone is right.
Gregg tried a zinger.
Barry replied to the post asking where it is in the book.
Hope everyone laughs this stuff off. I look forward to all good advice this forum offers.
I can't stand bashing when people are donating their time and taking the extra effort.
There have been to many times things go to the bad side for no reason.
I have heard people think that Barry is certain things. If you meet him, He's a great person with good intent. Anyone like him who keeps coming back with the constant criticisms must love trains and the hobby.
Dave,
But since Barry is being so high and mighty about it, I guess he must be right..
Thank you for your most helpful contribution to this thread.
Your most welcome. Wouldn't have bothered, but you basically were calling Bobbie out on something he was actually correct on.
The title of the thread even now still says AIU (maybe you too should look again, as you suggested to Bobbie).
Does it matter? No. But it didn't matter too much when you jumped at Bobbie either.
You were right that the posting wasn't edited.
Dave,
If what I posted was "jumping on Bobbie", you're reading a whole lot into my post that simply wasn't there.
Bobbie,
If I offended you, I apologize. It wasn't intentional.
Again Thank You Barry and Greg. I did what you guys told me and all is fine. Taped up the melted TIU posts. All seems to be working fine. Ed P.
