Can anyone tell me if there is a handy O27 and O Gauge coupler reference listing I can get my hands on? I'm looking for a comprehensive listing of them all if it exists.

Coupler types...Hook/slot, Latch, Box, prewar. Postwar Knuckle and Scout.
Dan65train, Thanks.
I'm trying to update my easy model railroad inventory software with the proper terminology.
Much appreciated.
Lets not forget the Marx spade or tilt couplings. They sold a lot of them.

Would you mind posting what Dan65train sent you? I am curious if his data also includes various O "scale" couplers from days gone bye.

There were two styles of postwar knuckle. Electromagnetic with a sliding shoe and the magnetic type with either a plate or thumbtack actuator.
K-lines "Complete Service Manual for Lionel Trains" has a complete section on post-war couplers lifted from the Lionel Service Manual.

This is all Dan65train provided me "Coupler types...Hook/slot, Latch, Box, prewar. Postwar Knuckle and Scout." Hope this helps. I am trying to get a standardized list put into my software tracker for all of my loco's and rolling stock.

Lionel also makes scale-sized O gauge knuckle couplers.
