Can 2 180 watt bricks or 360 watts be attached to 1 fixed voltage channel without doing damage to the TIU ?

No. I run two PH180s through a TPC400 then to the track. I attach the TIU in passive mode so the 20 amps does not go through it. In the attached diagram I use a PSX-AC for circuit protection, requiring the choke to prevent degradation of the DCS signal. The PSX and choke can be replaced with a fast acting fuse.

No, each brick can output 10 amps. 20 amps through a TIU channel is an overload. Even if the internal fuse doesn't blow, components will get too hot for long life.
