I understand that the DCS Remote Commander includes a subset of all the possible commands of the full DCS system. Is it possible to access additional commands by using a different type of remote with the DCS Commander base, i.e. Is the base a general purpose "IR to DCS Command" converter or does it only support the fixed codes coming from the DCS Remote Control?
I'm wondering if it is possible to develop a software app running on an Android tablet with some kind of IR blaster that would allow programming a larger feature set.
