DCS WIFI question with Lionel Trainmaster base | O Gauge Railroading On Line Forum

Hi all

Question - I habe an old TIU with the 9 pin serial port and my Lionel Trainmaster base is plugged into it. Does that mean that I cannot use the DCS WIFI unit?

Let me add one clarification: it's that 9 pin serial port that the DCS Wifi is supposed to plug into

Fred, I have the same issue. As of now I have had to disconnect the Lionel TMCC. I'd prefer to not have to buy a new or newer TIU, but I haven't found another option. Does anyone know of any options? Is a "Y" splitter available?

Yup - that will do - simply splitter did the job for me. The WIFI remote runs great - a lot of fun to operate
