According to the MTH website, they made a Western Maryland steel caboose with center cupola and road number 1863. It is item number 30-77260 and was uncataloged. The status is shown as "Delivered Jan. 2015" and it might have been a special run for the Western Maryland RR Historical Society. The society's website shows some special run Weaver boxcars for sale but this caboose is absent.
So the question is, was this caboose ever made and delivered? If so, where can a person buy one?
