What is the difference between these Cruise M Kits.

ERR CRUISE COMMANDER M GENERIC TMMC KIT

ERR CRUISE COMMANDER M DIESEL ODDESSY KIT

ERR CRUISE COMMANDER M STEAM KIT

What is the minimum requirement for the r2LC  version in each of these kits,

The Cruise M does not include ERR' s R4 with tmcc firmware.  So, that will need to be purchase separately if my version. of R2 does nto match the minimum firmware version?

I'm pretty sure the new production will all be the same board, the difference is probably the bits that come with them.  In the past, the steam version would handle the lower amplitude serial data that results from driving the IR sender in the drawbar, but I was led to believe that changed a couple years ago and all of them used the same board.  For instance, the Odyssey comes with a connector you splice in to change from the 6-pin power harness to the 4-pin harness.

The R2LC-08 or later is what you'll want to use.  You can also use the R4LC with the 08 firmware.
