I ran into an interesting problem with the ditch lights on two legacy locomotives operated as a lashup in Legacy (v1.52). The #1 locomotive was a 6-28331 CSX AC6000 #618 (powered) and the #2 locomotive was a 6-28305 CSX AC6000 #610 (superbass dummy). The locomotives were lashed up back to back per the instructions in the manual, and everything operated normally except for the ditch lights. When running forward the #1 locomotive's headlights and ditch lights were on and the trailing unit's headlights and ditch lights were off as expected, but when I changed directions the trailing unit's headlights were on but the ditch lights were off. I checked each locomotive independently and found the ditch lights working as designed, so I moved on to the lashup itself. I rebuilt the lashup with the locomotives reversed (#1 locomotive now #2; #2 locomotive now #1 in the lash up) and discovered that the ditch lights still did not illuminate when the lash up was run in reverse.

Am I to assume this is a limitation with lash ups in Legacy, or is operator error (read: total newbie to building and running lash ups in Legacy) to blame?
