I am using Fastrak. I have a 6-83174 double signal bridge with plug and play. I have the 6-81317 accessory activator pack. Everything is hooked up according to directions. When track power is applied the green light is on. When the train runs over the activator pack track sections, the red light comes on, but the green light never completely turns off. It flickers. Anyone have any ideas why the green light doesn’t turn off completely? Thanks.

Try cleaning the track and wheels first.
Is this both green lights or just one ?
Both sides operate the same.
Are the cuts in all of the 5 inch sections opposite the lock-on side ?
No. When the cuts are on the opposite side of the plug in, the green light doesn’t work at all. The red light stays on all the time.
Seems like the manual says that the cuts are to be opposite of the lock-on....
".... follow these steps: 1. Attach any piece of FasTrack to one of the 5" track pack pieces. 2. Attach the other end of the 5" piece to the 10" straight lockon. Make sure that the break in the outside rail is opposite of the lock-on. 3. Attach the last 5" track pack piece to the other end of the 10" track section. Make sure that this 5" piece also has the break in the outside rail opposite of the lock-on. 4. Attach any piece of FasTrack to the other end of the 5" track piece. Red wire (Power) White wire (Trigger/ Insulated Rail) OUTSIDE RAIL CENTER RAIL LOCK-ON Black wire (Ground) Underside of Track Do NOT forcefully connect your accessory's 3-pin male connector into the 3-pin female connector on the lock-on. Doing so will damage the pins on the accessory and/or the lock-on. Make sure that you are also inserting the connectors with the proper orientation ....."
Looks like page 3 of the bridge manual also shows the cuts opposite the lock-on .....

Are you using the plug or did you cut the plug off and are using the wires ?
Yes. I followed the instructions and the illustrations and the signal didn’t work at all.
Are the items brand new ? Did you get them at an LHS or do you have an LHS nearby that can test them on their test track ?
I built a simple layout for my grandson with a few plug 'n play items and my experience is that the connections can be fidgety.
Signal is brand new. Only a couple of months old. I bought it from my LHS.
I would bring both units back to the LHS and see if they can either get it up and running properly or replace whatever might be defective.
