I am using a Lionel 180 Brick, 18 V AC; 10 A
Is it okay to run in the 8 to 9 amp range? The brick does not heat up at all when using 9 amps for a half hour session.
I normally operate it in the 4 to 6 amp range but occasionally I run at 9 amps. If I do something stupid and go above this it seems to handle 10-11 amps but anything above that trips the internal breaker; which is as expected.
