1101a1101c1101b1101d1101eI hope someone can help me.  I got an older basket case Lionel Engine marked 1101.  I got the motor working again and painted the shell.  When ordering other parts this unit is similar to the 1655 and 1654.
After all that effort I discovered that the rearward drive wheels have issues.  
The axle for the rearward drive wheels is thicker than the forward drive wheels. It looks like someone drilled out those wheels and bushings to accommodate the larger axle.  Unfortunately, the hole in the gear wheel is too big and won’t stay on the axle. The plain wheel on the other end has a cracked hub.
I guess it is also possible the two axles were different sizes orignally.  I have axles and bushings the same size as the forward one.  The rearward thicker axle is straight and true.  So I am looking for a gear wheel and a plain wheel to fit either size axle.  Here are some pictures of the train in question:
