I am looking for an Duluth ore car set and have an opportunity to buy one of the following sets.

Other than the years released are there any major differences in these ore cars?

Is the paint better on one set than the other, etc?

It's so hard to tell from a mini photo showing a string of 6.

Thanks Joe, I wasn't sure I was going to get a reply on this post.

After trying to see as many photos as possible I personally could not see any differences other than numbers on the cars from set to set.

The list price on the 2004 set is $20 more but that is probably due to production cost increases.

One set did look like the load was a more brown than yellow but that could also be a lighting thing.

So many choices, I guess owning them all IS a great solution.
