Look back near the cab end of the body, and there should be a Pin that has to be driven out with a punch from one side to the other. One end of the pin will be smooth, the other end will be knurled. Drive from the smooth end toward the knurled end, and the pin will come out, and the motor will drop out.

You may have to remove or loosen the front 2 screws that hold the front wheelset in place. If you are trying to replace the roller wheels for the center rail replace the engine, I had a 235 scout engine and ended up replacing the motor unit.

Thanks for info, got shell off, the motor must be cheaply made its seal, it hums a moves a little but still haven't got it running good, greased and oiled still working on it but it's not froze up though just very stiff .
