I just got a new-in-box 1996 Stockyard set-up that I bought on Ebay. Unfortunately, there is some shipping damage that I think I can fix. Other than that, everything seems to work individually.
However, the OTC lock-on that activates the car, is for 3-rail, and I have Fastrack.
What do I need to make it work properly?
I can wire the stockyard so that it moves the cows around, and I tested the gates of the car with an operating track section. I just don't know how to make the two work together.

I should add that this is the 6-19828 modern repro stockyard set.
The easiest way is to buy two transition pieces (6-12040) and use a piece of tubular track between them. I've used them for several accessories.
So the "accessory activator pack" wouldn't work for this type of set-up?
If not I will try the transitions. Thanks!
I bought the transition pieces and a piece of 3-rail traditional track, so as soon as I can figure out where I can put this in my layout, I'm going to give it a shot. Thanks again!
