Does anyone know how to wire/hook up a remote switch with the new ready to run sets that come with a remote and a power plug, no transformer, I am not sure how to go about doing this since I have never used a remote switch.

It's been awhile since I've used one. But aren't they pre-wired to the remote control switch lever? If so, just plug it into your track and you're good to go. Or if you want to use fixed voltage from an accessory power source, you can remove the metak jumper underneath and hook up the power directly from a transformer.
