Ok guys I have a set of crown edition Williams cars that when I run them they flicker a lot. They never stay steady??? I am using a Lionel LW transformer on fastrack. is this normal for those cars or any ideas??

The way that was done was one roller one light. We wired the hot on the bulbs together and that took care of the issue.
Yep - same here.
Something else that might help is to replace the center set of wheels in the passenger cars if they have a 3 wheel set-up, as the center set of wheels is usually plastic. Lionel post war and Williams Crown Edition axles will fit together pretty good, just replace the whole axle and wheel assembly with a Lionel post war one and you will have metal wheels instead of plastic.
I have upgraded a Williams SD-45 with plastic non-flanged wheels to metal wheels and got rid of a stalling problem.

I built a simple circuit that keeps the lights from flickering. Here it is, it works great and you shouldn't have a problem even with one pickup.
