Mark P's Monon engine had a problem at low speed crossing one of four  Ross O-120 track switches.  At slightly higher speeds there was not a problem.

Chuck S's K-Line diesel, very nice.

Patrick's Lionel Lines Hudson on the main while our MTH Texas waits on the warehouse siding.

For four hours this afternoon I had a lot of foreign horsepower on the little layout.

Beautiful layout and trains, but where are the trains with foreign road names?  The ones in the above photo appear to have American road names.

Foreign road engine = Any engine not belonging to the parent line.

All the engines shown in the pictures appear to belong to others, i.e. not the host railroad.

Next time you host an Open House at Rattler Station for "foreign trains," I'd like to participate and bring my Sunset 3rd Rail Rock Island TA diesel with four RI articulated passenger cars.  I need an excuse to run this new train on a layout (like yours, I hope) that has O72 minimum radius curves and switches.  Also, I hope your layout has TMCC. Let me know ...

The trip to/from Chicago would also be a reasons to visit my relatives in Illinois at Peoria and Decatur.

Monsignor Joe's 1938 set which had been in storage for 40 years.  Our inner loop has Lionel hand throw track switches so pre-war items may be run without fear of damaging the uncoupling/unloading shoes.

Bill T's very nice steel mill train.  Scale gondolas are bashed and he was kind enough to explain how it was done at the Sept 22 Open House.

Brandon's rolling stock, the Lionel auto rack is long.

I regret not having photos of a session we hosted several years ago shortly after the MTH Monon passenger sets were available.  Two LCCA members brought theirs over and we ran three baggage cars, nine coach cars and one observation behind ABA power - all Monon.
