I read in the April Issue of Racepace Magazine that the S1 and T3 locomotives that have been stored on an industrial siding south of Albany, NY are now the property of the Danbury Railroad Museum in Danbury, CT. The S1 is #100 the first S motor built and the T3 is the last T motor built I was told. The museum is now raising money to have the two locomotives moved by trucks to the museum as the siding is no longer connected to any railroad and even if the siding was still connected CXS refused to allow them on their rails.

I was just informed that the nearest railroad to where these 2 former New York Central locomotives are is the Canadian Pacific which owns the land that the locomotives are sitting on, however the railroad is in the process of selling the land to a private developer and that is why the locomotives have to go. In addition to hiring the trucks to move the locomotives a road also has to be built to where the locomotives are now sitting. Up to now the Canadian Pacific has allowed them to be there.
