We came out of Chicago today via the Skyway. To our left was a long, narrow NS yard. There were about seven road diesels on the eastern most track being fueled from a tanker trailer. Obviously a seven thousand gallon tank trailer cannot fill seven road diesels, but it could top off a few and make return trips. The Chessie tried this at least fifteen years ago in Cincinnati. I don't know how long it lasted. They also ran a tank car as a fuel tender between two road diesels. This would make a nice scene which could use non-powered models. Anyone have such a scene on their model railroad or on a diorama? John
