Ran across this today. Seems that with Large Scale, you can get key-fob "spy cams" into some pretty novel places:

I always thought about trying the "run over" shot in 'O, but with 3-rails, I'd have to substitute a wire for the center rail so the camera can lie under the pick-up rollers' path.

Terrific video - Thanks!

Especially liked the undercar shots near the end where you could watch the action of the wheels and trucks as they negotiated the various turns and variations in the track.
