Anybody notice at the bigining and end of the video that the gates are not down?

Those gates protect a track that crosses the UP mainline.

The location looks like West Chicago, IL, on the old C&NW.  The gates that are not down would be for the EJ&E line, which crosses the UP at a diamond.

I like how he commented that the chill he got had absolutely nothing to do with the freezing temperatures!!!
