They offer O Gauge (#801) and 027 (#802) mating pins. Don't see any reason why it won't work. You'll might need to shim to get the heights to match up.
As Tom said, yes, you can. I believe that Gargraves matches the height of Lionel's 027 track so you'd have to shim it slightly to match the O gauge 022 switches.
The mating pins that Tom mentioned would work perfectly.
