Thanks for that from a great country music singer. He and many others did real country music before it turned into auto tuned garbage/pop/bubblegum.
I know some guys that are thinking of some very good times had by listening to his music at a many a hunting trips with a little bit of Lord Calvert. I'm one of them.
He was one of the best. Always loved to hear him sing. Clear track and Highball, George
George, 'Who's going to fill your shoes' because 'You don't need no rock'n chair'.
R.I.P. my friend.
I'll blow the whistle tonight for you GEORGE, on the layout. RIP.
A great singer, one of those artists who personified country music. Sorry to learn of his passing.

He stopped loving her today.
They placed a wreath upon his door,
And soon they'll carry him away.
He stopped loving her today.
RIP
So long, Possum.
What, me worry?
A famous quote from Frank Sinatra concerning George Jones "He is the second best singer in America!".
In my opinion, THAT says it all!
No show Jones will be missed.
George Jones and Hank Williams were my favorite country singers, actually, they still are.
great post, thanks
RIP George
White Lightning! Really liked his stuff, RIP.
His recording of A Picture Of You Without Me was my Favorite. Earlier this year we lost another great country singer Jack Green.
