After gaining tremendous notoriety in 1981 when the 4877, then owned and operated by NJ Transit, was painted in Pennsy's Tuscan pinstripe scheme, United Railroad Historical Society of New Jersey volunteers have returned the locomotive to its historically accurate original DGLE livery.

The 4877 is pictured, approximately half-way down the page, at its current location of Boonton Yard which is being used by URHS for equipment storage, maintenance and restoration:
