Larry, I gave this shot a once over off you tube, and it looks like possibly a Berkshire off the Nickel Plate Road or possibly the Pierre Marquette.

The brakemans shack on the tender through's me though. Maybe Hot Water will chime in and clear it all up.

It does look like a C&O Tender, and possible one of their 2600 series, they they got after the merger with "PM", but again the tender dog house throws me!.......................................

Rusty, I looked at the film again, and I believe that you are right. It is one of the N&W unshrouded 4-8-2's, not for sure about the tender. I don't remember seeing a dog house on any of their 4-8-2's shrouded or unshrouded, but could have been.

I vaguelly remember hearing that some parts of that movie being filmed in Virginia. I just wonder why they went to the trouble to reletter the tender, unless it was C&O cars, so they did the engine and tender too match!................
