Time to clean this act up ! Now we all know the Broadway had two Master rooms with showers, and the 1938 Century had one such room. Now who else in the golden age of train travel could boast such an extravagance? Sou. RWY. had one on the Crescent in 1970, but I don't know where that feature started. Ready, set.......get wet ! Don't forget yer flip - flops.

A little off topic, but one of the standard plans for a c.1900 woodsided Pullman Palace 80' combine (the kind with a lounge area and barber - like the old MDC/Roundhouse HO kit) had a bathtub. It wasn't in a private compartment or drawing room, it was shared by the passengers.
I'd say it's a safe bet that the B&O's Capitol limited had one at some point. With so many "out there" amenities such as a barber shop on board, it would be hard to imagine a train like that lacking some kind of facility for personal hygiene.
If the Capitol Ltd. had a shower, it's kinda weird that it would not be mentioned in either in timetables of the period, or in Fan books. Some trains had crew showers, but none for passenger use. Example: the Century from 1942 until 1948.
I've yet to find a New York City subway with a shower....but traction showers occasionally sprang to life ! Huzzah!
