Now that September is here and the unofficial start of the unofficial train season is upon us with York, Allentown and numerous small to middling train shows between now and Christmas is there any small item that you will always pick up at a train show regardless how many you already have if you see it? Mine are the plastic Marx and K-Line picket fences (the Plasticville ones just look too flimsy to me), Plasticvilles rustic 3 rail fence and telephone poles and Life-Likes lampposts. If I see any of them at a show I will grab them up in a heartbeat. I've also in the last couple years started buying the old lead figures even if they aren't O gauge or even make sense on the layout (my polar bears, penguins and walrus come to mind). So what's your gotta have item?
