I personally use the needle-point tip most of the time. I have a second handle with a chisel-tip, but I don't often use it. If I need more heat than the needle-point tip can transfer, I use my Weller 100/140 gun.
Replacement tips are readily available. Here are the ones I use. I needed an extra tip enclosure cause one of the tips got stuck and I couldn't change out the tip. That's why the suggestion for the extra tip enclosure. I use the CO5 (bottom left) for most of the pcb work.
