Has anyone seen a Lionel damsel rescue accessory?

I think they were made by K-Line, but not entirely sure. Do not have one obviously.

I have one of these.  Its a fun accessory that is a real crowd pleaser in operation.  Its called the Maiden Rescue.

I haven't seen the accessory, but that sounds like the Dudley Do-Right episodes from the Rocky & Bullwinkle show.  

I think Nell was the damsel in distress, Snidely Whiplash was the villain and Dudley was the Mountie to the rescue.

I don't have one, but here's a video of one in operation.... until the end, and then sort of. I guess successful, consistent operation depends upon what is activating the accessory. The catalog says 153C or insulated rail. An infrared device would work too. I guess you need to pay attention if these fail.

The reason they provide an extra maiden with the accessory is they get run over by the train now and then.   I had one, but I sold it a couple years ago.

LOL... I had one and the Maiden shot across the room ... never did see her again.

I had one. A real crowd pleaser.

Only time it failed for me was when I let a visitor reset it and he did so incorrectly and the maiden was run over!

His name was "Steve". I have a "corner baby" doll in my train room now named "Little Stevie".

Thanks for the feedback guys. I might pick it up next time I am there if I can get it for the right price.  It was marked for $80.  It seems to be going for 60 to 70 online.

I just bought one of these on Ebay for $35 that was never used.  There's a few of them on there today.

I'll add to the fun.  I've had one for at least 10 years.  it works.   I use insulated rail to activate.
