You're a modern guy; modern ones would be safety yellow.
Paint, if any, appears to be left to the customer. The ones I have seen look like this image:

How do these bumpers look to O scale??? Was looking to purchase some from Harbor Belt Lines. But they don't list the scale? Would they look good with Fastrack
Most modern BNSF ones are orange. At industry tracks they are usually just all rusty.
I've seen three colors: Orange (on SP, ATSF, and __SF), Yellow (industrial area -- looked new), rust (most), and .beat to he** (rust, but no longer shaped like they were when delivered.)

I emailed Harbor Belt Lines and they responded right away. Their Hayes type bumpers are O Scale. The only other ones that I could find were from Custom Finishes, same Hayes style bumper.
Atlas O three rail track bumpers. 6040 May be it could be made work for two rail. Plastic, no shorting problems.
