Me and my wife left Friday from Northeast Pennsylvania to go out to Altoona to see the horseshoe curve and juniata shops and than down to Virginia to ride behind 611 Saturday from Manassas to Front Royal and back. I must say the curve is a breathtaking marvel of engineering and already planning on going back when I have more time to stay. I was very surprised to see the ABBA consist of F units sitting outside at juniata shops and the vast size of the place is amazing. On to Virginia,It was yet another sold out excursion just like the last 3 we have been on. The climax for the trip was meeting Wick Moorman former CEO of Norfolk Southern. As always it was a great time and hope to have more opportunities like this!
