You cannot. Email the webmaster and he can help.
Stu,
If you are talking about For Sale threads, just edit the topic line to something like "Please Delete" and the moderators will do so whenever they clean-up the forums.

This is under the Deleting Old Posts thread.

It must have been removed. You can also click on thumbnail photo below the post or the link for the other thread.
I tried to report one of my own threads that I would like to have deleted. I clicked on TAKE ACTION and then REPORT LINK to notify someone that I would like to have it removed. The result was that I needed to sign in to report the link. Once I signed in, the REPORT LINK was taken away. Is there another way that a thread can be deleted?

Use another forum member's reply from the thread to request the deletion. They know who sends the reports when it is sent in. Just fill in the box with the reason you are requesting the thread to be deleted.
Thanks for the tip MARTYE. I did try that and the DELETE option only appears on my own replies which will delete the reply only and not the thread. Do you (or anyone else) know of another way?

You mis-understood me. You are not deleting the other members post. But since you can not send an alert for your own post so use another member's reply and use the alert for it. Then explain to the moderators what you want to have them do. It will then be up to them to delete the thread or not.
MartyE has given you good advice. You cannot report your own posts. And you cannot delete your own posts once a reply has been made to the thread. And you certainly cannot delete anyone else's posts!
Marty is suggesting that you use one of the OTHER posts in the thread to send us the alert. All that does is send us an email with a link to the thread. In the alert box, you can tell us you are the original poster and want the thread deleted. Then we will take a look at it to see what's going on.
I did try what Marty suggested, but I don't think I formulated my response properly which may have caused the confusion.
I did go to another member's post to see if I can send an alert that way but there is no option available to do so, unless it's the PERMALINK option but I don't know what that does.
This is what I see

Report Reply is what you want.

Thank you Marty. I was looking for something that said "delete". I appreciate your help along with Rich.

But you COULD just "edit" the title to reflect "SOLD" and the Moderators will automatically delete the whole thread.
Not entirely true. There are many threads where the OP has done just that and they still have not been deleted.
Brian...got your "alert" request to delete your thread in the for sale forum.....done!!

Some times it takes a day or two, but believe me, the thread WILL be deleted, in the "For Sale or Trade Forum" once the word "SOLD" is edited into the thread title.

That's because we don't run this process every day. We do it about once a month.
