The recent '13 VII catalog lists the Premier S-1 length at 25 1/2 inches. Given the real loco+tender was 140 feet long, and it's 1:48, it ought to be 35 inches long. I hope this is a mis-print.
Anyone have an older MTH model? How long were those?
Thanks. I suspected it was a typo, given the Premier line is supposed to be scale, but I wanted to be certain. I think I will order one. I have a scale TMCC T-1 and the Legacy S-2 on order and would love to have a scale S-1 to go with them.
