No. Lights are usually on. You could try some sign posts of some sort that fit the scene. Still you would have to pick them out in the dark.

In the real world. I’m guessing a brakeman making a cut would have a lantern or a flashlight to see what they are doing. There are figures offered with lanterns. You could place them beside the magnet. Maybe use a small LED or fiber optics to simulate the light. Just use an on off switch to light as needed.

I was thinking ,do they manufacture a glo paint for indoor use . If so I could paint the top of the ties or a marker post. I was hoping that one of the kadee boys did switching in a night scene. I have 14 uncouplers , lighting would be a project I wish to avoid.
