JR Junction buys out local hobby shop's train inventory

We are pleased to report a deal has been reached to buy out the model train inventory of a local (Upstate NY) hobby store that has closed. We will be adding new and different stuff to our inventory and on our web site as we sort through the many boxes. Many older items that had previously sold out and newer items we never stocked will be added to our already overstocked shelves this Christmas season. Check our web site often, as good stuff is being added daily!

We do have a bunch of old stuff in stock and in boxes stored away. I usually "give away" the stuff for free to 6-10 year old kids with hopes they will make something cool out of it.

All but trashed locomotives. I'd love to find a real mess of a prewar loco for Gabe to work on this winter. If it's a box of more or less related parts, so much the better. If I can find one, he gets a basket case for Christmas every year--it's become a running joke. (Yes, he already has something else newer and more functional wrapped.) So far, he's managed to get everything running, even if the air does turn blue.
