That's a pretty impressive setup.
Pretty nice setup.
Very impressive. It's amazing Lionel could box this up, move it, reassemble all this stuff, keep it organized, and have it fully functional in under 2-months.
I like the test track!

They hired the local National Guard unit.
A nicely executed move by Phil and his crew into what appears to be a very neat and nicely organized facility down there in scenic Concord, NC. Compliments, too, to Lionel Tracks for a neat, clean, and easy-to-follow website (which I'm sharing on my Facebook page).
I like the test track!
Me too...
And the accessories on the layout instead of just plywood and track

So what are we seeing? 031 to 072?
Now ... will Mike keep that place as neat and clean?
Very nice set-up!

Looks like 036, 048,060 top and 060, 072, 084 bottom. No matter the mix, there's no 031 because the spacing is all 6' ctr-to-ctr.
Wonder what they use to clean the track regardless of the official recommendation, that orange stuff, or just 71% isopropyl alcohol?

No doubt, they use Lee's favorite...
Very good article, although I found this snippet to be an interesting choice of words:
"Lionel’s Customer Service Facility is a very busy place. And these numbers don’t even account for the large number of locomotives, starter sets, switches, transformers, remote controls, and other various parts the center receives for repairs."
Don't know if I would have added that statement online; could be interpreted by some readers to suggest they have QC problems.
Quite the operation.
I believe the top half of the layout was added specifically for Mike Reagan's personal enjoyment BigRail
Good leadership usually translates into good results. Congratulations Lionel for your very successful move.
Impressive!
