MY, my, the S scale feature is tempting. The latest issue of RMC makes S scale look really good. And just think I got the magazine for the GN plyboard boxcar info. I guess I could build it in S too.

Come to the dark side...we have cookies. No, seriously S scale used to be known as "the scratch builders scale." Just visit our forum here and see what we're all about.
To see some other fine S scale modeling, I would suggest taking a peek at the the S Scale SIG:
Also, coming soon to a computer near you, the S Scale Resource from the publishers of O Scale Resource. Currently a work in progress, the first issue is scheduled October/November. The following web address is currently a placeholder:

And S scale actually has a very workable selection of vehicles, unlike O. Trying to get enough cars and trucks for a traction layout is one of my frustrations.
Mr. BL any chance you give some advice on how you get such great and consistent rivets. Plastic thickness/ what size pounce tool, tips please
...and nice looking flex track available in code 70, 83 and 100...turnouts...crossings...etc.
All from Larry at Tomalcotrack.
I agree, some very nice looking track.
Hwy, John Albee,
How is the motive power supply in S now? Has MTH produced anything yet?
What did you end up with in terms of engines on your S roster?

I don't do 2R scale, but I do enjoy O Scale Resource and am on the mailing list. Why don't they have one so I could sing up for the S Scale version to know when it's released?
If you're a fan of shortline and industrial railroads, check with Jim King at Smoky Mountain Model to see if he is still accepting orders for his 44 ton and 70 ton loco kits. His 44 tonner is the most accurate scale model to date.
Alright Matt, cut it out!!!!!!!
Oops, I neglected to mention the special order Proto64 turnout assembly fixtures I purchased from FastTracks at no extra charge.

I would imagine a mailing list would occur after the first issue is out.

Last I heard, the MTH S Scale F3's are still due in November.
