Build a unique train and maybe railway by modeling Kim Jong-ils armored train or railroad.  His railroad has 19 stations just for him and his train consists of three trains running with his train in the middle at a whopping 39 mph.  This would be exciting to model and watch running or rolling!

I wasn't sure the top photo wasn't a layout when I first saw it the other day. (yours has better resolution). My first thought on seeing the thumbnail was "that's a nice HO Kato scene Don't zoom, and look at the figure stances. Classic model figure poses imo. The guy to the rear even has the bent knee that makes you question the balance or if one leg is too long.(untill you notice the foot is on the rail).

Charlie, what's your source for this info?  I ask because NK is notoriously secretive so it's not likely this info is volunteered by its govt.

It just came to mind that down the street, from me, what used to be known as The Coach Inn, in Fort Washington, Pa.,  still has two passenger cars sitting outside of the motel.  There used to be four.  Two were scrapped at least twenty years ago.  Anyway, one of the coaches was Elysian Fields, if I am correct.  It was Eisenhower's presidential car.  The name was on the side of the car until about the same time the other two were scrapped.

They became a Subway for awhile.

Info from The Guardian via G search, original from Associated Press in Seoul, 9 years ago.  I other words "the internet" so it must be true.  Be ware.  I can believe things have not improved much in N Korea in 9 years.  Also reported he took a train because he has no airplane, per US news reports;  the truth who knows?  And we were hoping he likes trains and 3 day trips.
