I would really like to put LEDs on sides of buildings, Water Tower, etc.. However, I do not even know where to find soft white LED, what rating to get, where to find building Fixture for bulbs, how to wire and what to power with? Any help is appreciated

Many positive comments on the woodland scenic just plug system too. More expensive than roll your own but very easy to implement.

I agree with everyone in this thread so far, Evan Designs makes it pretty easy, and their products are quality. Another source, although more expensive, is Woodland Scenics “Just Plug” products. You don’t have to know much about electronics for Just Plug. Gunrunnerjohn is another source too.
