Legacy crewtalk caboose marker light issue

I sent an email to Dave Olsen and he confirmed it was a programming bug in the board.  I got an RA from Lionel and then are going to re-flash the board with the corrected code.  I really appreciate Lionel taking care of this.  Kudos to them for a quick resolution.

I do not know which versions of the legacy crew talk caboose have the bug.  I have a first edition which came out in 2023.  Newer versions may already have the newer code.

Interesting.  I had the same issue I reported in my video review.  Might be time to contact Lionel.

Known issue, I sent both of mine back several months ago to get reprogrammed.

I apparently missed that thread as well.  Anyway, glad it's getting fixed. These new versions of crewtalk offer alot of play value. I run them often.

@Joe Fermani - thanks so much for posting this information. I emailed Lionel, received an RA and have the caboose packed and ready to ship for the software fix that only they can do. I look forward to having it behave better as part of a train on my layout!

I also must’ve missed the thread about them knowing about it and fixing it with a reprogramming. Thanks for bringing this up I run a lot of trains and it would drive me nuts.
