My wife and I are going to New Orleans for a work conference for her. While she is at the conference I thought I would check out a LHS or two. Any recommendations in or around the NO area? I won't have a car, but Uber/Lyft will be convenient...so the closer to NO the better. Thanks in advance!

Skip the hobby shops and hit up the live music on Frenchman Street. Poboys at Parkway are also a must and Parkway restaurant is only a short street car trip from downtown.
Still - are there any LHS's in the Crescent City?
I'm in NOLA every day for work. No hobby shops. Closest one I know is orange grove hobbies in Gulfport MS.
Theres one in Metarie (you can use cab/Uber/ or Bus from downtown) it's called hub hobby shop. Www.hubhobbyshop.com I've never been but they may have some good stuff. Enjoy the big easy and yes..... EAT!!! The local food is fantastic.
