Today started out with a nasty root canal at 8:15. I went to the office, grumbled to the boss, grabbed my laptop and headed home feeling horrible.
I pull into my driveway and notice boxes on the front door step. My good friend Stu (LionelNation.com) was in Newport on business and personally delivered the new METCA Exclusive Four Car Set of 40' Reefers. Produced to help celebrate METCAs hosting the 61st TCA Convention next June, the cars are all labeled Manhattan Brewing Company on the left. To the right of the doors you get each unique offering:
- Gotham City Lager
- Empire State Stout
- Big Apple Pilsner
- New Amsterdam Ale
Another great job by Atlas and a extremely limited offering. I believe only 48 of each are produced in 3-rail and 12 in 2 rail. According to the METCA website this morning there are still 4 sets available...but I wouldn't wait.
