That's the one I am trying to avoid.

I think one of the GG1's tended to overheat. Not sure which one but I think it was the first set produced. Maybe someone else can weigh in on this. Lionel had a solution for the problem and was able to correct the issue.

I was looking at the prices for the "Congressional Set" $600-$1600!

I paid less for my Scale Williams GG1 and congressional passenger car set combined.

Wondering if it would be better to just buy the TMCC kit for it.

But then again I am looking at the PWC set strictly as a collector.

Same with the Texas Special PWC set, I think the Neil Young Set is better in both price and features...decisions decisions!
