Page 19 of the manual, suggests that a track short exists or you may be exceeding the power capacity.

Is one brick tripping consistently, both or alternating?

Are they connected properly? One for A & B and one for C & D with the jumpers installed?

Is any one control handle the cause?

Is your layout wired for multiple power districts? Any chance one is not isolated from another?

You have a problem some where, and it sounds like a faulty ZW or the brick.

First run the layout with a different transformer.  If it runs fine, switch back to the ZW and only use the A channel.  Does it work?  If not, switch to the other brick?  If that fixes the issue, you have a defective brick.  If still tripping you have a problem inside the ZW.

A channel feeds the ZW, so other channels won't work unless A has a brick supplying power.   G

One brick feeds the A and B handle (via the jumper plug) and the other brick feeds the C and D.  I would plug the brick used on the D side into A and not plug in the other brick.

This way the ZW is powered up with A and B.  Run the loop on A and see what happens?  Than run on B and see what happens.  If now good, I would think the breaker in the one brick is bad.  But if both bricks trip I would think there is a problem in the ZW controller.

At that point you could try running off D with both bricks attached and see if it runs fine with no power out of A. At that point you may be able to salvage using b, c and d or at least some of the channels.   G
